There are two types of wheels you’ll use to sharpen your skates. Use a Hollow Grinding Wheel to sharpen to your favorite radius of hollow. As you get familiar with your wheel preferences. you’ll learn how ice conditions and your style of play affect your hollow of choice.

A Flat Grinding Wheel will also come in handy to “reset” your blade - important when prepping new steel or refreshing damaged edges. Your PROSHARP skate sharpener will notify you when it’s time for a new wheel!
